Hi,
California is investing $18.4M to help equity applicants and small business owners enter the cannabis industry. Also in California, a judge is allowing homeowners to move forward with a class-action lawsuit against a local cannabis grower over strong odors. This could pave the way for more lawsuits from frustrated neighbors in other cities. Meanwhile, New York is opening its doors to out-of-state cannabis brands through a new licensing plan and is considering a bill to legalize intoxicating hemp. I think it's part of their plan to push intoxicating hemp to the regulated market via dispensaries. We’ll see what happens, given that everything that NY has tried has turned into a mess. ;).
