Florida’s governor signed a law that makes it harder for citizens to get initiatives like cannabis legalization on the ballot by adding costly bonds, banning out-of-state petitioners, and shrinking the signature window. Nevada’s first state-licensed cannabis lounge shut down after just over a year, with its owners blaming high compliance costs and restrictive rules that made the business unsustainable. Scientists are working to develop psychedelic-based medicines that don't produce a high. Talk about party poopers. I’m kidding. It’s progress. ;)
