A study found that states with legalized cannabis saw a significant drop in prescription drug claims among small-group insurance plans. In the future, I think insurance companies will appreciate cannabis as it will save them money since cannabis costs less than prescription medicine. :) Speaking of subsidized cannabis, Germany, the world’s biggest buyer of cannabis, imported a record 41 tons of medical cannabis in the first quarter of 2025, nearly 4.6 times more than the same period last year! In the Netherlands, Haribo recalled gummies after cannabis was found in some packs making people feel sick. I am so intrigued by this as the world’s biggest gummy company is not in cannabis or CBD. So did a factory worker spike the mix? That's a PR nightmare and will cost them a pretty penny…and one hell of a prank. JK. ;)
