A new federal definition of hemp is drawing backlash from those in the industry who say it will destroy their businesses. The ACLU is suing Sonoma County for allegedly using high-powered drones to spy on residents’ backyards and enforce code violations without warrants. The ACLU asks, if police need a warrant to peer over hedges, shouldn’t they need one to send drones over your property and fine you? Ukraine just issued its first permit to import medical marijuana, a major milestone as the country expands access to cannabis-based treatments. The industry keeps growing. :)
