A recent survey revealed that illicit fentanyl use in the U.S. is way higher than previously thought, with 11% of adults reporting use of illegal opioids and 7.5% using illicit fentanyl in the past year! Governor Newsom says that more than 99% of California alcohol licensed establishments have banned psychoactive hemp products. Psychedelics may ease anxiety and fear by reducing brain inflammation, and one woman in a minimally conscious state showed increased brain activity and new movements after taking psilocybin. It makes me wonder what fungi can do to help heal our brains. ;)
