New York is opening its cannabis market to out-of-state brands through a new licensing plan and is considering a bill to legalize intoxicating hemp. However, it's still unclear if these products will be available in regular stores or limited to dispensaries. A recent clinical trial indicates that hemp-derived cannabinoids help sleep quality.

Meanwhile, researchers have found that psilocin, the active form of psilocybin from magic mushrooms, can stimulate the growth of new synapses in mouse ear cells, suggesting potential new treatments for hearing loss. If that's proven to be true, I want to visit the nursing home when they give everyone magic mushrooms for the first time. ;)
