Hi,

Pennsylvania’s Senate committee shot down a cannabis legalization bill, even though the House had already approved it. A congressman said that the Democratic governor needs to put on his big boy pants and negotiate a compromise... Okay, I’m paraphrasing. :) Some members of Congress are now pushing for a federal investigation into a DeSantis-linked group that used Florida Medicaid funds to fight weed legalization. Allegedly, he used money allocated to help people get medicine to fight legalizing cannabis, which would provide more people with medicine. By the way, did you know that Governor DeSantis was accused of torture in Guantánamo Bay, where he was stationed to make sure that torture didn't happen?

Speaking of corruption, a former Colombian cartel trafficker who later became a DEA informant has been arrested for secretly smuggling drugs again while working with the agency. It's a shame the DEA doesn't regulate the most powerful drug of all….power. ;)
