California lawmakers voted to block the proposed tax increase on cannabis products. We aren’t in the clear yet but I think the tax hike will be shelved. :) Nevada just passed a new law that allows people with past cannabis convictions to qualify as foster parents which is insane to me that it wasn't done earlier, as it's a legal state. Meanwhile, scientists discovered 33 genetic markers in cannabis that could help develop new strains tailored for medical or adult-use. There’s still so much to learn about this lovely plant. :)
