California is moving to permanently ban hemp-derived THC products like vapes and drinks, which could wipe out a chunk of the industry. We included a story of a veteran who says psychedelic therapy saved her life and is now pushing for others with PTSD to have access. Speaking of which, Texas approved $50 million to fund research into ibogaine as a treatment for PTSD and addiction, and they plan to retain some equity in all projects. Iboga and ibogaine are still illegal federally so that’s pretty aggressive. Who would have thought Texas could become a leader in psychedelic research and treatment? ;)
