Hi,
California is looking to cap THC in pet cannabis products at just 1mg per package, but vets are pushing back, saying it could make helpful treatments disappear from shelves. While they have been dragging their feet with dispensary licensing, Alabama just passed a law that bans smokable hemp and limits edibles and drinks to 10mg of THC per serving in regular stores. The new licensing rules and a 10% tax are kicking in next year. I think the alcohol people had a word with them. Meanwhile, In a rather left wing move, Trump signed an executive order demanding drugmakers cut Medicare prescription drug prices to match other countries in 30 days, threatening tariffs if they don’t comply. Of course, in classic Trump fashion instead of thanking the far left who had been campaigning for this, he thanked his rich, overweight buddy as explained by Jon Stewart. Regardless, the good news is that Americans will be able to get cheaper medicine, barring the push that Big Pharma will make to fight this. ;)
