Hi,
The alcohol industry is pushing Congress to regulate hemp-derived cannabinoid drinks with limits on potency and to include strict testing and labeling rules. Texas Governor Abbot seems to be a fan as he vetoed a law banning hemp, hinting at regulations similar to those of alcohol. Texas became the 40th state to legalize medical cannabis expanding qualifying conditions, raising THC limits to 10mg per dose and 1000mg per package and while flower isn’t allowed, with prescriptions, patients can buy edibles, oils, lotions, patches, suppositories, nebulizers, inhalers, and vaporizers. More dispensary licenses will be released in September.
